Home Cooking...

This is nut flour (for honey nut bars). These bars were my first attempt at cooking Paleo. If you try the following recipe, my suggestion is to use something like craisins instead of raisins. Raisins belong in almost nothing. Also, add chocolate chips. Chocolate chips belong in almost everything.

No worries if you have no idea what I am talking about with this "Paleo" stuff. I don't either. I consumed an entire box of Girl Scout cookies the very next day. Thin Mints are where it is at!!!

Home Decorating...

| Presley is the next Emily Henderson. Straight lines are boring. |
| To get this look, make sure your curtain rods cost no more than five dollars. Kmart worked well for us. Then, find a frustrated child. Have that child pull the curtain with all their might. If you are lucky, the rod will bend just right and result in the above angle. Presley charges $10/hour. |
Home Life...
Peanut Barrel...
| We had another snow day! |
| Peanut took Zoe for a ride. |
Zoe's Creations...
Even though we had a lot of snow this week, Zoe had fairies on her mind.
| Zoe asked for tape to hold the fairy's dress in place (made of organic natural fibers (leaves)). Brilliancy. Just found out that was a word on spell-check... Brilliancy. Now, I am going to title this blog Brilliancy. |
| Zoe hoped the card board fairy house would keep them warm during the snow storm. |
This sign was an absolute necessity. Zoe did not want Leprechauns to invade the house. But, as it turns out Leprechauns are fairies too. So, Zoe has become an equal opportunity lender for all fairies including Leprechauns!
Zoe painted the fairy house pink and relocated it to the garden to politely attract the right kind of fairies ( i.e. garden fairies)
Have you ever wondered what i.e. and i.g. really stand for? I did. |
Zoe made another fashion statement. She wore that one glove and one earing all day!

Sam's Town...

Sam likes the snow too.

Aunties...
| Mom, Aunt Lucy, and Aunt Sarah came to visit for the weekend. I have the best aunts in the world. Tons of fun! Tons of brilliancy! I.E... |
Real quick note here: My mother is amazing! She is loving...God-loving, people-loving, nature-loving, fun-loving and sometimes adventure-loving. She is amazing and she is my hero. The following will high-light her adventure-loving side and brilliancy. Let's start with one of her famous quotes, "I have three lives...My home life, my work life, and my Sacajawea life!"
| Look at that tree! I'm gonna get in that hole. |
| Watch me. |
| Wait. |

Brilliancy: a quality that outshines the usual wordnetweb.princeton.edu/perl/webwn

I stumbled upon the video mode to capture some bonus material.
"I could hang from it" Julie Cholik
Mom took time to encourage my brother.
Mom, thanks for outshining the usual!
